Great point made by Brian Farrington’s cartoon on gun rights. Private gun ownership results in less crime. Private guns are used 2.5 million times a year in America to prevent crime from occurring. If you didn’t know that you probably live in Finland, where half of all convicted rapists don’t even serve real jail time.

Great Chuck Asay cartoon on the GOP establishment’s failure to adhere to small government principles. The Tea Party is rightly challenging these two big government Republicans. If reducing government is what we need right now, it needs to start with the representatives we’re electing from the “small government” party.

Sometimes a cartoon is so perfect it doesn’t need any words. This hilarious cartoon by Eric Allie accomplishes this amazingly. If you haven’t already, follow Eric Allie’s tumblr Furious Diaper. He’s a better source for his expressively illustrated and spot on visual commentary than an dumb hipster from Finland.
Spot on Ramirez cartoon on illegal immigrants leaving the United States due to Obama’s poor economy. It’s completely understandable. When a nation goes down the toilet due to big government policies that kill jobs and drive us further into debt, people tend to want to leave for greener pastures. In terms of socialist countries…why do you think East Germany needed a Berlin wall?

Great cartoon by Ramirez on the disgusting race baiting by racists such as the New Black Panthers and charlatans like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson who have made million dollar careers out of exploiting tragedies and playing the race card at every turn.

Terrific Eric Allie cartoon on the Supreme Court’s inevitable ruling on Obamacare as being unconstitutional. In America, unlike socialist countries in Europe and tyrannical dictatorships, government power is limited to enumerated powers. You can’t pass any law you want. One of the benefits of a constitutional republic is that certain rights are retained by the people and can’t be legislated away by anyone, be they a nationally elected leader or by 51% of the public. Those rights are not the government’s to give away. If you don’t understand that, you probably live in Finland.

Another gem by Michael Ramirez, quoting James Madison on how tyranny advances gradually without any notice, and rarely comes from a violent seizure of power. We have certainly seen that come to fruition with the progressive era’s Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Herbert Hoover, FDR. Obama has been no different, with the government take over of car companies and healthcare.

Nice cartoon by Glenn McCoy on Al Sharpton using the Trayvon Martin shooting to boost his own self importance and encouraging an escalation of civil disobedience that the NAACP condemned. Keep in mind that Sharpton is the same man who’s claim to fame was supporting Tawana Brawley in her rape case against three white defendents, which turned out to be a lie. Sharpton even accused the District Attorney of being one of the rapists. Sharpton has also proven to be a walking punchline in virtually all matters and giving him attention following the shooting of Trayvon Martin will only tarnish his memory.

Spot on cartoon by Rick McKee on Obama’s hot mic comment to Medvedev about being more flexible after the 2012 election. Without another election, a second term Obama administration can push any agenda it wants without fear from the voters. This will mean more bailouts, more stimulus, higher unemployment, more mandates and less freedom.
